ReplyDeleteOh geez, thanks Marilyn! : ) I was inspired to write about art because I was trying to make sense of my own increasing need to write poetry and write songs and paint pictures ... and ... and ... blog! So ... This is the quote that inspired my thoughts: "Great art is … irrational. It is mad with its own loveliness," a remark credited to George Jean Nathan, and I think it hits the nail on the head, at least for me. Keep on bloggin' in the free world, xokaren
